HD-5000

SUPPLEMENTAL COOLING ADDITIVE (SCA)


HD-5000 is a heavy duty cooling system concentrate. HD-5000 extends the life of the cooling system by reducing five major problems:

1. Rust and Corrosion - HD-5000 contains a corrosion inhibitor
2. Cavitation Erosion - HD-5000 contains a defoamer, bubble breaker to prevent cavitation
3. Acid-Alkali Imbalance - HD-5000 contains a buffer for pH control
4. Hard Water Scale Formation - HD-5000 contains a chelating agent to prevent scale formation
5. Metal Decay Electrolysis - HD-5000 contains a coating to prevent electrolysis

DIRECTIONS

Before using any SCA, use of a test strip is strongly recommended. SCA test strips are available from E-ZOIL. See below.

Initial Treatment -
Add 1 pint for every 4 gallons of engine cooling system capacity.

Recommended Service Procedure -
Add 1 pint for every 20 gallons of engine cooling system capacity every 12,000-15,000 miles or 250 operating hours. Always use test strips to determine need.
