Tonawanda, N.Y. – July 1, 2026 – E-ZOIL Products, Inc. has named Todd Kuipers as Sales Director, adding three decades of heavy-duty industry experience to the company’s sales leadership team.

Kuipers joins E-ZOIL with a strong background in product sales, team management, customer training, and distributor support. His career in the heavy-duty trucking industry began after earning a degree in advertising from Grand Valley State University. Though he originally envisioned a career in the advertising world, Kuipers found an unexpected and lasting path in the heavy-duty aftermarket, a field he has now served for 30 years.

Early in his career, Kuipers was approached by a Sales Manager at Tramec Sloan for a regional sales management role covering New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He accepted the position, marking the start of his time in the heavy-duty aftermarket. He later joined Horton, an engine component supplier, where he spent eight years and relocated to South Carolina. Following his time with Horton, Kuipers continued his career with Tramec Sloan, further expanding his experience in heavy-duty product sales, customer relationships, and sales team leadership.

In his new role, Kuipers will support E-ZOIL’s continued sales growth by working closely with customers, distributor partners, manufacturer representatives, and internal teams to strengthen product education, field support, and sales execution.

Kuipers believes the strongest sales organizations are built on relationships, trust, and team culture. “A great sales organization feels like family,” said Kuipers. “Sales can be demanding, especially when you’re on the road, in airports, in hotels, and constantly moving. When you’re working with good people, it makes the work more enjoyable, and it makes you want to sell.”

His approach to sales leadership emphasizes both performance and pride in the work. While revenue remains a core measure of success, Kuipers also places value on team morale, customer confidence, and the ability to help salespeople feel prepared in front of customers.

Kuipers also emphasized the importance of giving sales teams practical, field-ready tools, including product collateral, training videos, samples, and test kits, all of which help customers evaluate products firsthand. For Kuipers, customer confidence is often built through experience: when customers can see how a product works, sample it, and understand its real-world application, the product itself becomes one of the strongest sales tools.

E-ZOIL manufactures performance products for vehicle and equipment professionals, including fuel additives and cleaning solutions. With Kuipers joining the sales leadership team, the company continues to invest in the relationships, resources, and field support that help customers protect equipment, improve performance, and solve real-world maintenance challenges.

Kuipers is originally from Holland, Michigan. He and his family live in South Carolina, and he has four children, two stepchildren, and two dogs. Outside of work, loves to hunt, fish, and spend time on the lake.
